Mastering these healing moves not only assists in rehab (rehabilitation from injury, dysfunction, or pain), but also provides clear pathways for how to actively adapt to life’s stressors and “pre-hab” the body (building a more pain-proof body).
Sharing your expertise with your clients is an invaluable aspect of your work. Because most people don’t have much experience healing their own body, clients often require education about how to safely progress through stretches and movement therapies. For instance: What does a healthy stretch feel like? How do you know if it’s too much? Not enough? How often and how long should I practice?
