Neck, TMJD, & Tension HA Hands-On Integration

Heath Reed September 8, 2024

There are a tremendous amount of significant myofascial and neurological structures in and around these areas of the neck, jaw, and head. Because of the physically and psychologically sensitive and complicated nature of working these areas, we strongly recommend therapists invest several minutes of integrative work, such as slow ROM and stretching, held touch therapies like Cranial Sacral or Acupressure approaches, or even activating more Vagal Tone with the Basic Practice. Be familiar with ways to integrate at the end of your Pain Managment therapies so clients (and their kinesiological body intelligence) has the opportunity to assimilate the benefits of the session with some intentional down time.
