Using Archer stance you can stay with your technique, but maintain your alignment.  Remember to transition your stance when you reach popliteus.  *Other possibilities for working the posterior leg include soft fist over soft fist (waterwheel) or using one soft fist to begin to reorganize the fascia and the other following behind performing cross fiber.
Does it feel good to give? Does it feel good to receive? Then you are doing it right!
