Prone Shoulders to Hips

Stand so that your center of gravity is facing the shoulder you are massaging.  Wrist, elbow, and shoulder are aligned.  Emphasize the middle phalangeal segment. There should be no pressure on your thumb.  Draw your armpits down. 
Begin in Archer Stance at the head of the table.  As soon as you feel like your midback is rounding, heel toe forward to come next to the face cradle, staying with your technique so that you are not overextending you back.
Remember: both the QL and the Diaphragm attach to the 12th rib.  This is a great time to invite your client to breathe into the technique.
